The Strobe Motion Alarm is an excellent alarm for use in areas where a portable or temporary installation is needed (such as rental apartments).
The detector is sensitive, and quickly detects motion in the protected area. The alarm is LOUD, and the flashing strobe is bright. The remote arms and disarms the alarm with the push of a single button.
I have used this alarm for about a year, and haven't experienced any false alarms.
As portable alarms go, this is one of the best!

This unit has poor motion pickup and is hard to set.
I installed it over my sliding garage door (12') pointed down so that anyone coming in would be picked up and they would not be able to reach it to destroy it if they saw the light. (Poor design having a warning light) First off, if it does go off it is only after a 15 second delay...too much time, second it will not set with the remote unless I get a ladder to get closer to it (remote will not work at 12') and third it only picks up movement about 1/4 of the time.
It might be good if used level and close up
I would not recommend it.
