So far so good. Positioned under my deck and facing toward the front door. Works very well and no false alarms.

This device works great. it is sensitive enough to beep if a leaf crosses it's path as it falls. It works flawlessly. If it had a vibrate function on the receiver I would give it 5 stars.
Since the guy who gave it a bad review did provide any supporting comments, I am disregarding his bad score. Maybe he used bad batteries....
